What is Patient Care Link?
Patient Care Link enables practices to collect payments electronically without the need to send paper statements.
Patient Care Link provides ability for practices to import data from their EMR systems and send statements to Guarantor's phones or emails with few clicks. Guarantors can view the Explanation of Benefits (EOB) and choose to pay by Credit or Debit card.
Guarantor(s) don't have to create account or login. They need to verify who they are by entering their last name, first name and date of birth.
How it works:
- Setup & Administration
- Set up a new Practice group, and one or more practices in Patient Care Link
- Add practice users using their email addresses and provide them access to the practices data
- Patient Data
- Export patient data from the EMR systems
- At present Allscripts, eClinicalWorks (ECW), Centricity, PracticeMate are supported
- Import patient data in to Patient Care Link
- Export patient data from the EMR systems
- Patient Statements Data
- Export patient statement data from the EMR systems
- Import patient statement data in to Patient Care Link
- Mark the statements as FN or PD if needed
- Send statements via SMS or email to all guarantors
- Payments by Guarantors
- Guarantors receive the payment notifications by SMS or email
- Guarantors click on the link, enter their first name, patient's last name and date of birth
- Guarantors view their Explantation of Benefits (EOB) and proceed to pay using a Credit or Debit Cad
- Practices can view stattus of statements and payments in Patient Care Link
- Practices can collect copay or statement balance by taking Card information from Guarantors by phone or in person
- Messages
- Practices can communicate with guarantors right from the application (sent to Guarantors via SMS)
